Biography
- Latest/newest/final outfit was inspired by a faceless, ornate nun costume on Pinterest + Sister (Arakawa Under the Bridge)
- The nun habit would be indicative of religion and religious garb, but I think it could be justified that the habit is sacred to Aeron (and Aeron alone)
- Does have a human face under the mask and "suit", but only a select few who have met death have been able to see it
- Aeron's "nonchalance" in regards to returning souls to the planet is based on the cosmic principle and law of death from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina — "the earth is owed a soul"
- "Nonchalance" in regards to the fact that he doesn't "care" whose soul it is, just that a soul is owed
- Fukuroushi's existence is based on the superstition that if an owl calls your name, either you are going to die or someone is coming for you
[ WIP/Draft ]
Aeron's history is only known by him. His existence is rumored to have begun when the planet was created, and that he is the permanent, immortal embodiment of the Death Xaerian1. Aeron is considered to be the "Grim Reaper", and is even used by name as a threat ("Put this jacket on, right now, or you'll catch cold—and Aeron will come for you").
When it's your time, Aeron will indeed come for you—and you, alone, will be able to see him. This has been proven by Revivees2 and they also attest to the fact that after being resurrected, you remain [painfully] aware of Aeron's existence. Oftentimes, Aeron will track down those who have been resurrected, demanding their return; Galaxcyn3 and the planet are owed a soul, after all.
Aeron is still carrying out his duties as the Death Xaerian. However, he is now preoccupied with his hunt for Monosashi Reigenzien et al., as the longer they remain alive, the greater the sacrifice becomes to satiate the cosmic balance.
[ Scythe ]
A "gift" from the Death Xaerian, Aeron wields an oversized sickle scythe, complete with bone adornments and the shroud tatters of death itself. Although he doesn't exactly have a need for it when collecting souls and returning them to the planet, it was granted to him for "apocalypse preparedness"—and to complete the "grim reaper" illusion.
[ Call of Death ]
Aeron possesses a gargantuan demon familiar—an owl/Australian magpie creature by the name of Fukuroushi. Fukuroushi possesses size-altering capabilities, and Aeron sends it usually to scout out/keep an eye on those who are close to death. Some who are close to death (or who will be, in cases of accidents, murders, etc.) have been able to see Fukuroushi and hear it calling out to them, indicating their time is coming to an end.
Fukuroushi and Aeron can communicate telepathically; otherwise, Fukuroushi acts, appears, and makes noises in line with that of a typical bird.
[ Xaerian ]
Aeron was fabricated with the creation of the planet its and Xaerians, and he has been made the permanent, immortal vessel for the Death Xaerian.

Fukuroushi
[ Demon Owl/Magpie Familiar ]
A physical manifestation of the Death Xaerian's will, Fukuroushi is an owl/Australian magpie hybrid demon whose loyalty lies with Aeron, and Aeron alone. Fukuroushi posses size-altering capabilities, which help in its surveillance of Aeron's targets — those who are close to death, or those who have a cosmic debt to pay (Revivees, usually).

Monosashi Reigenzien, a Revivee, now owes the planet a cosmic debt. Given Monosashi's knack for persuasion, he and the rest of his band of Revivees have been able to avoid paying the debt directly. However, the cosmic balance continues to grow more and more disproportionate the longer these resurrected souls are alive.
